Can't "finalize" "finish" or end a CD after coping photos

I have tried using Windows XP and Roxio Potosuit 5 to copy photos to a CD but neither one asks me if I want to "finalze"l or "finish" the recording session. Windows- under the File menue the word Finish remains grey. Any help would be appreciated as I have 7 disks that arre not completed.
 
Roxio 5 is a known problem with XP. They are now on 7. This version does
work. However, you have to select XP or 7. You cannot have both. If you
install 7, it will take over XP, so use it to copy photo files. You just
select copy data files. If you want XP back, after you install 7, you need
to right click on your CD drive, click on Properties and then on the
Recording tab. Click on Enable this drive and Eject when finished. If you
use 7 again to, say, copy some music, 7 will take over again and you have to
do the same thing again to get XP back.
