Can't establish a VPN Connection

I've had my Dell E1705 for about 5 months. About 2 weeks ago, my VPN
connection to my workplace disappeared, and now I can't start any VPN
connection (via Internet).

One day it works. Next day it won't. Now it just runs through the wizard
but never saves the connection no matter which options I choose. The wizard
simply says it cannot establish a connection. Diagnose won't function. No
error is logged.

I can establish the VPN connection from my XP E1505.
 
Hi,
Are you creating the VPN connectoid from the "Network and Sharing
Center"? When you say that the wizard is not able to establish a connection
do you mean that the connection testing that happens during the creation of
the connectoid is failing?
