Hi everyone,

I hope there is a cure for my problem. I have been working on a workbook that contains several
worksheets...all has been well, until this morning. I now can't seem to be able to enter any
formulas in the cells on one page. Instead of a the result of the formula the actual formula shows up?

I should have know there would be this problem after staying up way too long last night to fiddle
with it.

Two possibilities:

Try <Ctrl> <~> (tilde - under the ESC key)
This toggles between formula view and regular view.

If that doesn't help, try this:

Select one of the cells that has a "text" formula, and then:
<Ctrl> <Shift> <~>
Then
<F2> <Enter>

If that works, then select *all* the cells that have the "text" formula,
And do <Ctrl <Shift> <~> *ONCE*
And <F2> <Enter> for each cell in the selection.
You'll see that the focus for the cell revision will automatically remain in
the selection, so that you can hit <F2> <Enter> *without* having to choose
the cells again.

Probably your cells are (unintentionally) formatted as text. Format as
General and re-enter the formula.

Thanks...can't see how I changed the formatting, though? But it works now!
