can't empty the deleted item

hey, does anyone can help
I'm using Outlook 2002, but can't empty the deleted items before july 7,2003. i can do it after that day. the error message: "The message interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook.". i restarted and didn't help. I tried the "repair tool", it didn't fix either

Figure out which message/messages are the problem, and select them, and use
shift | delete to delete them. Does that work?
