Can't email my access database over MSN

For over 5 years, a friend has been (each month) sending me a copy of an
Access database over MSN as an attachment to an email. This time Outlook
blocked the attachment. When I went to the MSN web site directly, I found
that MSN had also blocked the attachment as "potentially unsafe"! I went back
and tried past databases that were transmitted successfully in the past, and
MSN now rejects them. I was able to successfully receive the database through
a Yahoo email account. Virus scans with Norton come up clean! When I open any
of these databases, even the 4 or 5 year old ones, with my new Access 2003, I
get a warning that the database "may not be safe". I received this database
without a problem just last month, and opened old databases without problems.
What has changed??? What have I done wrong???

Hi Lew,
For some reason Access files have "unsafe" traits and need to be zipped
before sending them out. Try using winzip to zip up your access database and
then send it out through outlook or msn.

Hope this helps
