Hi,
When I open a folder that contains pictures, I can click on SEND TO and
choose MAIL RECIPIENT. A window opens that asks if I want to make it smaller
or original size. I can choose either. The next window opens and says to
choose PROFILE instead of just opening outlook express. Then it tells me I
am missing a dll but doesn't tell me which one. When I try to send using
PICASSA I get the same problem asking for which profile and then saying I am
missing a dll.

Is there some setting that I need to change, or some file that has gotten
deleted somehow? What can I do to get it to open outlook express to send
the pictures?

Thanks for your help.

Windows version?

What application was used to create these pix, GG?

Many image-handling/viewing applications like PICASSA require a Full MAPI
mail client when using Send To. Such would appear to be the case here.

MS Outlook Express (OE) is only a Simple MAPI client while MS Outlook (OL)
is a Full MAPI. The prompt you're getting suggests the application wants to
use OL and that OE can't be used.

Hi,
The pictures are just plain .jpg pictures from a canon camera.

We used to be able to do this before, but something has changed - I don't
know what. We used to be able to send from WORD (SEND TO - MAIL RECIPIENT)
and from folders that had pictures in them (right click and choose SEND TO -
MAIL RECIPIENT) but none of these work now.

I can send a picture as an attachment by opening outlook express and
ATTACHING but can do the same via the shortcut method of right clicking on a
picture and choosing send it to mail.

Anyone know what we might have changed or a file that might have gotten
corrupted or deleted?

Thanks again.

I think the standard answer when you receive a missing dll message is to
re-install the application (Outlook Express?). I seem to remember also a
setting in either Outlook or Outlook express for the maximum size for an
attachment, but I couldn't find it.
