can't drag clips into the storyboard

The program gives me an error message every time I try to drag the clips into
the storyboard. It says that the program has encountered an error and needs
to close. What can I do?

Hi PapaJohn
I have tried it. I went to that site and followed instructions. I have opend
the application files and have found the error messages: faulting application
and hanging application.
I am not sure what do they mean by "turning off a codec that is interfering.
"????

If you have MM2.1, use the menu > Tools > Options > Computability tab....

If you are using MM2.0, search for the problem codecs and rename any you
find... but limit the renaming to only those listed as problems.
