can't drag audio clip

I cannot drag an audio clip. I can clip the clip, but I can't drag it.

My C drive is almost full....is that the problem?
 
Could very well be. This kind of function takes some room.Can you clear up
some space?

I freed up 4 GB of free space on Drive C and WMM2 still won't let me drag
audio! Then I read on this website about "Audacity" the free audio editing
program. It works Great! I can cut the audio all I want and then export it to
WMM2. That way , I don't have to drag it at all in WMM2.

It's disappointing that WMM2 is soooo glitchy!!
