Can't Download PDF

Software Environment:
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0
Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional
Adobe Reader 6.0

I cannot download a PDF while running IE6. All I get is
the word "Done" in the Status Bar and a placeholder icon
in the top left corner of the Web page when I try to
download a PDF. Does anyone have any ideas on how to
resolve this issue?
