I got a popup asking what program I wanted to use to open a file and I
accidently hit Adobe Reader when I wanted to hit cancel. Now a whole lot of
my icons on my desktop have the Adobe Reader logo instead of their logos.
When I try to do a system restore, nothing happens. Please, I need help.

All these icons would have needed the same program to open them with,
what kind of icons are they? If they are documents for example and you
have MS Office then you would reset the association to that,
spreadsheets to Excel etc.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
If using Norton, disable it before using SR.
