Does anyone know what registry entry(s) are involved in
the ability for a ABrowser to know what to do with an
ASP? Initially we had this problem when the system was
running Win98SE. An ASP would not display what it should
but simply showed the "unknown" icon in the upper left
corner. This sysptom, surprisingly, carried over when we
did an upgrade to Windows XP Pro. Thinking it might be a
problem with IE, I downloaded Netscape only to find that
Netscape gives the message which basically indicates it
doesn't know what to do with a .ASP file. I tried this on
another computer which successfully displays .ASP with IE
and it worked with Netscape as will. Hence the problem
probably doesn't lie in IE but someplace deep in the
registry. I can't do a clean install with this computer
since it has too many programs which would be a bear to
reinstall (if not possible at all).
Any suggestions helpful. Thx.
