Can't dismiss reminders

I have a User who setupreminders in her calendar. Ever
since the 17th of Sept all of the reminders she has set
keep popping up everytime she opens Outlook. If you press
dismiss they go away, but come backnext time Outlook is
openned.

I deleted the first message from the reminders and when I
restarted Outlook the reminder for that event came up
again. I clicked on 'Open Item' and it took me to the
event. I could not see the event in the calendar, yet it
still brought me to the event. I then deleted that
eventusing the 'x' icon and dismissed all of the other
events.

When I restarted Outlook I got all of the reminders again
including the first one which was now deleted twice. Now
when I dismiss this event I get an error message:
"Cannot turn off the reminder. You may be reminded
again. The message you specified cannot be found."

Please help me get rid of this message and of all the
popup events. Thanks!

I'm using Outlook XP (2002), and have the same problem, but using the
CleanReminders switch has no effect.

I'm not sure if it matters, but I don't use a local PST file, it is an
Exchange mailbox that stores all my Outlook info.

Thanks in advance.
