Can't disable Reminder because message can't be found

I have a reminder that keeps coming back every day and it can't be turned off because I can't access the original message because it can't find the message.
Any ideas how the reminder can be disabled without the original message?
 
I'm having a similar problem. The reminder doesn't show up at all in my
calendar, but a "find" sees it. Can't delete it, tho, it says it can't find
the recurrence info. Did you ever find a solution for this, Richard?

Outlook 2003, btw.
