Can't detect internet connection !!!!

After the latest spyware definitions update I get the "can't detect an
internet connection" message
 
I suspect there server is hooped, same problem here in vancouver canada, or
an bug in software........
 
I installed AntiSpyware yesterday as I was confident with the previous one I
was using. I haven't even done any updates, when I try and do an update I'm
just informed the app can't find an internet connection. Im using an ADSL
router using NAT so it shouldn't be a problem.

All I can think of, as so many people seem to be having problems, maybe the
update everyone has problems with came incorporated in the download of the
spyware app ?!

I may reinstall my old spyware program as at least that updated !!
 
I have two computers that have had the spyware installed for several months.
I also have one I just installed the software on last night. All are getting
the same "Internet can not be found" message. Clearly this is a Microsoft
Server issue. Hang tight and I'm sure they will resolve the problem on
Monday.
 
I first experienced this issue when trying to update my old version. Thinking
it might be due to the fact that I had not downloaded the latest version I
did this and then had the same problem - so I agree that this must be a
Microsoft server issue.
Here's hoping they get it sorted on Monday

I have also noted that after the most recent update of MS Antispyware, it is
unable to find an internet connection. Though, it will post auto-updates of
definitions.

First installed at 5pm GMT (from UK)
Did Manual Update
Same message as everyone else
If it won't update, what use is it Microsoft?
