When I try to delete it, Access says "ActiveX control not registred" (free
translation). Is refers to MS Photo editor but I don´t have that installed.
That should not stop me from deleteing the control? How do I get around
this?

It may be corrupted. First make a copy of the file as a backup. Then try to
do a Repair and Compact on it. If that doesn't work, try importing all the
objects into a new empty database. For more on corruption, see:

http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm

It does not seem to be corrupted. Did a compress and repair. Imported the
form to an empty DB. Still complains that the AxtiveX-component is not
installed and that I should reinstall it.

Normally, I'd suggest registering the control, but this one is native to
Access and you don't have the parent program installed. You can rebuild the
form by copying and pasting everything but the control that is a problem,
then deleting the original form. You can also try doing a repair of your
Office installation, but I don't think that will be necessary.
