I am a school administrator of a domain and I just discovered that I can't
delete profiler I use to test with on my own computer (xp) when I don't
need'em anymore.
I don't have this problem with w2k when I need to clean computer from
student that left school.

Does somebody can help.
Thanks
Chris

Please explain more. How do you try to delete the profiles (method,
commands)? What error messages do you get?

If you start regedit and look under HKEY_USERS key. Are the registries
for the profiles you want to delete loaded there? If so, try first to
unload them (right click, unload hive).

There may be problems with services using the user registry even after
the user logs off, but that problem is always solved when the machine is
rebooted. It is possible to solve this without rebooting the system if
you restart a service, I don't remeber which one right now.

If you are an Administrator you can take ownership of the profile folder
and assign your account full control permissions and then delete.
