Can't delete printer on Windows 2000 Terminal server
My cleint runs a WIndows 2000 server Terminal server in
application mode for every user including internal users.
He recently installed a new print driver that appears to
have caused havoc. The server locks up and crashed almost
daily. I have unistalled the printer fronm the control
panel but under advanced server properties under driver
tab it is still listed. (HP 7100 series.) When I
select 'remove there it gives me an error "unable to
remove driver, The specified driver is currently in use."
I went into the registry and did a search on the client
machine name that orginal installed the driver and the
driver name itself and I removed every instance in the
registry. However, I still get the error when I try to
remove it in the Printer Control Panel under >> Server
Properties>> Drivers tab. Any ideas how I can delete it
from there? (e-mail address removed)
