cant delete or add anything

im using a sony ericsson w350i wit a M2 [512MB] card. once i
connected it to a stupid comp which had some virous..
now im not able to delete anything from my card. it says ''files
protected ''
when i try to add something from pc, it says ''access denied''..
how can i correct it?
please help me

sir i tried tat . it says ''memory stick formated'' but the problem
persists.
is there any other way?

The device that is using the M2 memory card is a cel phone. Most cell
phone that accept a memory card would have a format option within
their option menus.
 
As your phone has nothing to do with Windows XP, you should be talking to
Sony tech support.

First off, have a close look at it to see if it may have a write protect
switch
which you may have overlooked...

otherwise:


Go into disk management and totally delete the partition
then recreate and format it to whatever file system was originally on it

It sounds like the memory card has failed. The FLASH memory cells have a
limited number of erase/write cycles. Once one of the cell blocks fails
(and the reserves are used up), the memory ceases to work. The failure mode
can vary from a read only memory card (which you have) or a card which
appears as a drive with no media in it (or anything in between).

Try a new memory card.
