Hello
Sorry if this has been done to death but...

I have XP and Windows Messenger 4.7 running. I too have a couple of old
Email account adresses that I want to get rid of, stranded in the drop down
log in box .
Can I delete them?
Can I get WM to store only one previous entry?
Can you tell me how?

Many thanks Roger L

Greetings Roger,

You can remove Passports in the sign in list by clicking the Start Button, then click the
Control Panel. Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and
then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network
Passwords'. In the window that opens, you can remove accounts by clicking the passport you
wish to delete [denoted by (Passport)], and then click the 'Remove' button.

For more detailed instructions and screenshots on this procedure, see here:

Unfortunately there is no way to just have it remember "one".

Hello Jonathan

Many thanks for your help. It worked just as you said.
All I can say is, it's obvious really, why didn't I figure that out myself!

Thanks again

Roger L
