Cant delete folders from start menu

Hi I installed a few games and it made two seperate folders in the start
menu for the games but they were not in my games folder so I did a click and
drag into the games folder but when I did a sort by name to make them in
alphabetacle order the two new folders had nothing in them when there was
games stuff in them before. I have tried to delet them from the start menu
and from windows explorer but it says that access is denied.

Any Ideas about this?

It looks in your personal folder C:\Documents and Settings\'yourname'\start
menu\programs and also in the all users C:\Documents and Settings\All Users
folder. Have you checked the all users?

Ok I looked in the "all users" folder but they are not there they are in the
C:\Documents and Settings\Shaun\start
menu\programs\Games folder, if I click on one of the two game folders a
popup says "Access Denied" and I cant delete them from there either. What
can be done?

RightClick on the name and then click on Open or Explore to edit it. Can you
do anything with the folder then?
 
I tried to "open" and "explore" when I right click it but I still get the
popup saying "Access Denied" I have tried to rename it and cut and past it
elswhere but the same thing.

What Else?

Try soft mode by hitting F8 during boot.

I tried safe mode by pressing F8 at bootup but it still says "Access Denied"
when I try to access the folder or try to delete it and I installed a game
just now and moved the game folder it made in the start menu to the games
folder and now it is like the other two - unable to get into it and delete
it and it is empty.....

What should I do now?
