can't delete folder, it keeps coming back!

On my second hard drive, which is my storage drive, I
have this folder which I used to store .wav files in.
Well I got rid of those .wav files in that folder. Since
the folder was sitting there as an empty folder I decided
to delete it. Next time I opened my D drive I noticed
that same empty folder, which I just deleted, was back.
So I deleted it again permanently. Guess what, it came
back. I've tried giving the folder different setting in
it properties then deleting it. Still comes back, for
about the hundreth time now.....please help with this
annoying problem. Thank you for any help.

Do you have that folder set as the default save location for some media
program?
