can't delete files

I can't delete or move downloaded (P2P) files. It just freezes my system. I
hit "ctl-alt-del" and the message is "the programe is not responding".

If it is what I'm thinking of then you are infected, or tell us where you
download this from?.
Run a scan from here online:

Download Avast Cleaner from here:
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast-virus-cleaner.html
Lots of tools to download and disinfect your machine:
http://www.bitdefender.co.uk/site/Downloads/browseFreeRemovalTool/

For Malwares download both these software:
http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad-aware_se_personal.php
http://www.safer-networking.org ; for Spybot S&D

If still download this tool and delete in Safe Mode:
http://www.ccleaner.com

NASS,
I have tried all your download suggestions and tried to delete the files in
Safe Mode and still no luck. The files I want to delete come from P2P
"Limeware" (not porn). Any ideas? Thanks for your help

Perhaps your P2P is uploading these files at the time of deleting
attempts? It happens to me often. Shut down P2P & try again.
