Can't delete file

One of my daugher's friends opened a porno site. Now she has a pop-up that comes up when she's on the internet. We've located the file. However, when we try to delete it, a "cannot delete, access denied" window comes up. Is there a way to gain access to this file and delete it?

AdAware and SpyBot can detect "intruders", and give the user the option of
excising them...

Seems like the file is in use when you are trying to delete. A simple
sharing violation.
Restart the computer in safe mode and delete it.
In safe mode, you will have to log into the machine as administrator.
