Can't delete file

I have a 6kb file named "sysini" that was installed in the
C:\windows directory from the internet which deletes my
favorites in explorer and places unwanted favorites in
their place everytime I start the computer. When I go to
delete the file I receive a message that it can't be
deleted because its being used by another program. This
file needs to be deleted. Is there a way besides the
basic delete function? Thanks

Either use task manager to end the process sysini or restart in Safe Mode
and delete the file there. Would be a good idea to scan your system for
viruses with an up to date antivirus program too. "Extras" that delete
files are not friendly and should not be treated lightly.
