Hey,

I have a folder in my second drive called JK's wav files and then there's also a another ._JK's wav Files file that's 1kb that I can't delete.

when trying to delete either one, I get an Error "Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk.

can't rename

tried it in safe mode, same error

and when I try to rename the folder or delete it, it gives the error and then makes a copy of it that can be deleted but the two original one's cannot be deleted.

I read the articles on the other similar issues but when I go to the regedit I don't have the same exact number in the CLSID section????

what do I do??

thanks,

max

Hi there Max,

You Cannot Delete a File or a Folder:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=kb;en-us;Q320081

If the above doesn't help, this should: Process Explorer

Use the search function to find every handle that
Explorer.Exe has open and close them (right-click on the file and choose
'close
handle').

Then delete the file(s) in question.
