i have downloaded a movie from my pc but when i try to play it nothing shows up and it doesn't allow me to delete~~~ what can i possibly do to get rid of it >.<"

try rebooting, then deleting the file. do not attempt to play it, as it
seems your system then thinks the file is still in use, even if you don't.

If all else fails, reboot into safe mode and nuke the sucker.

Hi venusangil,

To delete the file in Windows XP, remove the following registry key.

Goto Start >Run >Type "regedit" go to

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{87D62D94-71B3-4b9a-9489-5FE6850D
C73E}\InProcServer32] - Delete this key

This prevents Windows Explorer from loading shmedia.dll in response to
the property queries on these files.

Good lulck, I hope this helps.
