Can't decide on External Hard Drive

I'm thinking about purchasing an external hard drive but I can't seem
to find a low cost model or brand that has good reviews. I really don't
want to pay more than $110 for it since I will rarely use it. The
brands I've been looking at are Western Digital, Seagate, Maxtor, and
LaCie. Are any of these brands good? Any particular model (under $110)
that's good?
 
yes, shop around. BTW, you should use it all the time to
backup your data files. Most come with backup software.
