When trying to create a TCPIP port on windows XP Pro,
getting error that says TCP MIB LIBRARY. Have to stop
all together. Does anyone know what the fix is for
this. For Windows2000 there is a possible resolution.
Have tried it and still no avail. All help is greatly
appreciated.

I have seen issue when other applications (router software, ISP stuff ) add
dlls to the \windows directory because they cannot replace the same filename
in \windows\system32. Check to see if there are any files in windows that
are also in system32.

Basically when you run the TCP/IP port Wizard, this loads
system32\tcpmonui.dll, which loads system32\tcpmib.dll and
system32\tcpmon.ini. These file rely on system32\mgmtapi.dll,
system32\snmapi.dll, system32\wsnmp32.dll, and system32\mswsock.dll

When do you get the error and what is the precise error message?
