One more thing... It appears as though IE, FTP clients,
etc... aren't able to communicate with the IP stack. Is
there a way to reset things. I also thought about
peforming a repair on the installation, but the
documentation available on this subject is vary sparse.
Last option if that doesn't work is a complete reinstall -
- not good.

When you use IE, does it give you a numerical error code in the error page
text?

No error code. I actually resolved the problem. The
issue was caused by McAfee Virus Scan Home Edition. I
did further research and found that many people have had
this problem. All I had to do was remove McAfee and
reinstall it. Tough one to figure out -- couldn't have
done it without the use of forums like this.

Thanks,

Randy M.
