Can't connect to the internet

I installed revised Linksys router firmware, and now
cannot access the internet or the router. Other computers
on my LAN can still access both. When I ping sites, they
respond, so it looks like an IE problem. Nothing appears
to be wrong with the setup. Linksys says it's my problem,
even though installing their new firmware has caused the
problem. I can't seem to completely uninstall IE6, so
when I try to reinstall IE5 (which came with the PC) it
won't let me. Suggestions?

What OS are you using?
Type
Start
Run...
"type" IPCONFIG /ALL
What do you get for an I.P.?
"type" IPCONFIG /RELEASE
"type" IPCONFIG /RENEW
now type again
IPCONFIG /ALL
Do you have an I.P. now?
