I have a homemade computer with an Asus M2N-SLI motherboard (which includes
built-in networking support). The computer is hooked up to a Linksys WRT54G
v4 router running DD-WRT v23 SP2 Standard firmware, and the ISP is Charter
Communications. Thursday, we had a storm and for a minute the power went out.
Afterwards, none of the 3 computers on the network were able to connect.
Since then, I have managed to get all except the one back online. However,
with the computer in question, the lights on the router and the jack on the
rear of the computer light up, but I get an error about the computer having
Limited or No Connectivity. I am able to connect my laptop to the same cable
and get a workign connection. I have checked everything that I know to to no
avail. Any suggestions?
