can't connect to my wireless internet

I just finally installed the xp service pack 2 and not I can't connect to the
internet no matter what I do. I disconnected the firewall completely but it
still doesn't work.

Any quick solutions, or should I just uninstall the service pack completely?

What kind of internet connection do you have: dial-up, DSL, cable,
other?

What does "no matter what I do" mean? What have you tried? Exactly
what were the results? If you got error messages, please quote them
verbatim.
 
Sorry, I'm a little frustrated right now. I'm on a different computer on a
different floor to try to get information on what to do. I have wireless
cable as connection. It shows that my connection is unsecure site. I took off
the firewall completely but that didn't let me connect.
What do you suggest that I try?
