Hey Everyone-

I can connect to my PC via RD using the IP of each PC, but when I try
to by using the PC name, it won't work. NetBIOS is installed on all the
machines, which is what I initally thought it was. All PC's are DHCP,
not static.

Anyone have suggestions?

Thanks In Advance,
Brian

Are you running any personal firewall software on the PCs your trying to connect to? For example the
XP SP2 Windows Firewall has to be configured to have "File & Print Sharing" enabled or "TCP Port
139" enabled in order for Remote Desktop to connect by name over a private LAN versus the assigned
IP address... This presumes that you have "NetBIOS enabled over TCP/IP" in each PCs network adapter
properties...

Is this on your LAN?
Firewalls enabled? If so, did you open up file/print sharing?
