Hi Everyone,
I am trying to set up a VPN server on my Win 2000 Server
machine. When I open up the Routing and RAS tool, and
right-click on my server, the menu option for "Configure
and Enable Routing and Remote Access" is grayed out. I've
tried disbling it, but that doesn't help. Neither does
stopping and starting the service through the "Services"
tool. Does anyone know how I can get to this option?
Here's another clue (maybe). When the RAS service is
running, and I right-click on the server on the tree side
of MMC in the Routing and RAS tool, then choose
properties, no dialog appears, and the icon in the tree
changes from the green box in the white circle to a red
circle with a white X through it, although it remains
green and white on the detail side.
Any ideas, anyone?
Thanks,
-Mike D.
