Can't Compress Some NTFS Drives

I have 4 hard drives, all NTFS. The system drive (which is 1 of a 2 part partition) doesn't even have the checkbox to "compress this drive to save disk space" nor can I compress a folder or file on that drive. The other partition on the same drive however works fine, has the compression tab, and can compress files.

2 of the other hard drives work fine, but 1 drive doesn't have the advanced drive option to compress the drive. They are all NTFS. Is there a registry switch turned off or something? I can't compress old files on C: with disk cleanup either... the option just isn't there. Please e-mail and post if you know what's up.

NTFS only offers compression if the cluster size is 4K or less.
That's the only reason I'm aware of.
