Yes, that is the name of the file I downloaded. I performed a full
system
scan with my a-squard anti-malware software, and removed everything it
found.
My definitions were up to date.

Anti Malware software isn't the same as Anti Virus software you
need
both for total protection.
I would DL the following and run in safe mode after removing all
temp
files
Sysclean
http://www.trendmicro.com/download/dcs.asp
latest pattern files
http://www.trendmicro.com/download/viruspattern.asp
Ad-Aware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
If you know how to create a bootable CD with the AV software above
included, I would even suggest using that method.

I did that, but it came up as a text file opened in notepad.

Is the file you DLed named restorealldisplaytabs.reg ?
If so I suspect you have other problems with your machine than
tabs
not being displayed.
You say you aren't, but can you say categorically that you are not
infected, what did you do to determine this.

It's a reg file, right click and choose merge your registry will
be
updated with the new values.

My computer is both virus and malware free. I went to that web
site
and
clicked on the file, but it said that it was in use by another
program.

When I log in on my main account (the one that I created
when
I
first
started
Windows XP) and right-click the desktop, then choose
'properties',
In
the
'display properties' window, the 'Theme' tab isn't there.
However,
when
I
log
on to a Backup account I created just in case my main
account
messed
up
majorly, the 'Theme' tab is there. Is there any way to fix
this?
