Can't change my default home page

I was recently the victim of an incideous piece of spam
mail that changed my default page to "secret-crush.com".
No matter how many times I go to internet options and
change the home page back to the one I prefer, secret-
crush.com eventually becomes my home page again. Can
anybody tell me how to fix this??

Remove the infection.
 
I have the same problem. And, I have run spybot, but this
did not 'fix' the bogus 'default home page'. Isn't there a
way to clear/change what shows as the default home page in
ie?

Go to: http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/
Download "Hijack This!" [freeware] or download direct (below):
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates: "hijackthis.log")

Next, go to the below location:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/forums/

Sign in, go to the "Spyware and Hijackware Removal" section.
Press "New Topic", copy and paste hijackthis.log into your new message.
