Hi,
I don't seem to able to change my default homepage. As soon as I change it
in tools options it puts it back to what is was as soon as I close the
options.
I have tried changing it in the registry but a message pops up which says
"can not edit start page. Error writing values new contents", I can't even
delete the start page value. I have dowloaded a homepage unlock reg entry
but this did not make any difference. I don't know what else I could do.
Can I re-install ie6 somehow?
Can anyone please help?
Thanks
Pez

Hello Pez,

I'm in the same boat with my Aunties PC, can't chang her home page from
uk.msn.com, and believe me I've tried - see my post a short distance from
this one !
I'm within inches from reinstalling her entire machine - which I did just a
few weeks ago, and the problem was there from the start. She's on dial-up
and the connection set-up wizard which always forces one off to msn can
usually be changed after the first connection but, it got stuck on hers and
I can't budge it !

regards, Richard
