Hi

I'm trying to change my homepage (in Tools/ Internet Options) from Google to
Ask.com but it keeps reverting back to Google. Does anyone know why this
might be happening?

Hi
I am having the same problem after downloading IE7 and found this in an
earlier post:

Hi,
These and other third-party programs can lock the IE homepage. Examine the
settings of security/privacy/antispyware programs for a disable option.
Spybot> Tools> IE Tweaks
Ad-aware Pro
Norton AV 2006
Spyware Blaster
Spysweeper
Zone Alarm (free) 6.5
If Zone Alarm (free) is the guilty party, download the latest version. This
has been fixed.

Or, to get around any of these programs, startup in Safe Mode, change the
homepage, restart.

Hope this helps,

Thanks Rob, I'll have a go at these suggestions. By the way, I haven't
upgraded to IE 7. Would you recommend it? I've noticed a load of disappointed
people on this newsgroup.

Hi Jackie

Its OK, It does seem a bit slower than 6 and takes a little time to get used
to but on the whole I like it, the "Tabbed browing" is usefull and I have had
no issues with my machine since installing it about 3 weeks ago.

I have however stayed with 6 on my laptop!

Cheers
