Can't change color display options

I recently had to re-install my operating system. Now,
when I try to change my monitor settings, the only option
I have is 16-bit color. What happened to the other
options? Any suggestions for how to solve this?
 
You need to install the video driver for yr graphics, either from cd
supplied with yr system or the hardware manu.site for yr video card
