Can't change camera settings

According to the online help I should be able to change the video camera
settings when I start the Capture Video wizard. However it seems that the
wizard skips the first screen and displays the screen where you provide a
name for the captured video. The back button is there but is greyed out.

I am running XP sp1 and am using a Panasonic DV video camera. I have
installed the drivers that came with the camera (although they all seemed to
pertain to the USB connection not the Firewire).

Everything else works fine. WMM identifies my camera as a Panasonic DV
device and the video capture works fine.

Hey Graeme,

You can only change settings for analog capture devices (webcams, TV tuners,
analog capture cards) in Movie Maker. There are no settings that MM allows
you to configure for DV devices (and not any that you really need to
configure).

Cheers
Gareth
