hi. a few days ago i got a virus.. and i deleted it.
but soon eanoth i found out that ctrl alt delete didn't work. but i fixed that with a friend.
but i found out that i can't change my background anymore..
i can only change the colour of the background. to red white or whatever but the option to change the background is not useable (sorry for bad english) lke you know when you can use something it has black letters.. but if not the letters are gray.
well i what i'm saying is i can't click anything except for colour..

could someone help me with this?

i tracked it with a virus scan and deleted it.
but that doesend matter i just wanna know how i can change my background again

support? so where is the support?
i tought i might get some help from someone who knows about pc's..
but no one is responding
you can say you guess it depends on what virus it is but that doesend help me at all.

Hold your horses! If you want support explain to the posts what you have been asked IE what virus>how did you delete it, as that is the point the questions were asked, some viruses will alter the way your PC acts especially after removal?:)

You may not be aware, but this site is free and is designed for everyone to help eachother. If you don't get a response perhaps someone just doesn't know the answer!

Why not try helping someone else as I am sure there are others who have problems you may be able to help with.

You need to explain your situation fully for someone to be able to help - but if you make rude responses you may find no-one replies at all!

Support here ...

Go away ... in ... short ... sharp ... jerks.

The word I'm looking for starts with a "W" ;)

If Ian had not replied to you above ... to give you a 'second chance' ... I would have used my power of Mod and banned you. No if's, no buts, no problem. :D

ok. it was a trojan and i deleted it with a virus scan.. forgot the name.
but i manualy deleted is.

manually deleting stuff is madness, what operating system are you using ?

it wasend on this pc.. it was a pentium 3.
with no protection at all on at so it go bad.
why is manualy deleting a virus madness?
i found it with a virus scan and it was telling me it deleted it, so i did another scan and the virus was still there.
then i manualy deleted it and scanned again and it was gone

Do another scan if it still appears move it to the quarantine or chest don’t delete it yourself

What virus scan are you running?

don't remember... it was on a diffrend pc.
but i'm sure the virus is gone.. something must be changed and i have to know how to change it back..
maybe something is turned on/off?
EDIT: did another scan with mcafee..
found no virus

try a system restore to a date before your pc was infected, if this doesnt work then some viruses make themselves resident in restore points so turn off restore(to delete the points) and then turn it back on agan

i wen't to a diffrend site and it told me i had to desrtroy a file called "desktop.(something)"
i did that and it worked..
when i was allmost following your guys advice...
i'm happy i looked on google

So are we ... 'cos we weren't to bothered. ;)
