,I just got a new computer and I am not good at this stuff...
I have a JVC digital video camera (GR-DV800...?) and I am trying to transfer
the video from the camera to Movie Maker. I am pretty sure I have downloaded
all of the correct drivers etc. (at least that is what the Wizard said) but
when I click 'Capture From Video Device' it lets me go through all of the
steps until I get to 'Video Settings'. At this point I select "best settings
for my computer" or whatever, and I click next...
Then it pops up... the message "An interface has too many methods to fire
events from". The one time that message didn't pop up, my computer just
stayed on that screen for an hour while my cursor spun around like it was
doing something. I finally had to unplug the USB and restart the computer.
I'm sure this is all due to user error but I don't know what exactly my
grievous error is.
Help.
