cant burn photos to adisk

help i have sony pcv -rz54g with pent 4 &win xp mce 2004 with sp2
cannot write photos on this using win cd writing wizard it used to work well.
it is only 1 year old and have only burned prob 20 discs. ihave tried all
the standard
troubleshooting tips and tricks ican find ayywhere . ihave cleaned laser
twice,defragged.clean up reg.deleted temp
files,uninstalled,reinstalled,drivers etc.
oh almost forgot pioneer dvd-rw107 dvd/cd-r. i am not sure when this thing
happened because it had been awhile since iburned a cd. here are the thinmgs
that could hav cause prob. upgraded to nis 2005 on 3/19 and recieved auto
update from micro on 2/18 .i rem nis & tied no luk .here are error messages
atapi 9,atapi,the the device,\device\ide\ideport 1,is not redy for access
yet.atapi the driverdetected a controller error on
\device\ide\ideport1,cdrom,the driver det a control error\device\cdrom0,and
the cdrom , the device\device\cdrom4,has abad block also atapi ide port 1 did
not responed within timeout period. i think it is some kind of port config
but have not been able to find my way to the secret spot. i think it is in
bios but do not know how to bring it up in win xp

Hi,

Do you have a try another application to burn photos to dvd, such as
photo2dvd, photo2vcd,etc. They allow you to burn photos to disk
directly. Just have a try and maybe it helps.
 
Open My Computer, right click on your drive and on Properties. Click on the
Recording tab in the opening window and check "Enable this drive".
