Can't burn disc's???

Hi there, i am having trouble with my DVD/CD burning rom.

It's a combon drive in my laptop and every time i try to burn music cd's or
data dvd discs it keeps saying the burn process failed (nero) or can't
complete in wma.

I have done everything the help guide says if you can't burn disc's (defrag,
disk clean up) but still no joy. I've tried to update the drivers but there
are no better versions available.

Anyone have any ideas???
 
Make sure the screen saver is off and all other programs shut down. Turn off
virus scan, don't use the pc while burning and try a slower burn speed.

Is the version of Nero you are using one that came with your CD/DVD in
the computer? Unless it is a free-standing retail version, it prolly won't
work. Get the retail version & try. HTH, s
