I have a Windows 2000 DC thats also configured as the DNS + WINS Server.
After I'd restored from a systemstate backup I made, Win9X and Win Me
Clients on my LAN started to have trouble logging on to the domain. I'd
reconfigure my WINS server and my legacy client just to make sure everthing
works, the result I got was erratic, cuz sometimes my win9x user login to
the domain without any hitch and somethings it just doesn't work. they use
to get a No domain server found or something error but now they get a
password error. I'm certain the user accounts are correct but it just
doesn't work plus I can't even browse my domain from my network places
anymore except I used the UNC path to a resource or a seperate workgroup
I am really confused now because i have no idea what to do next.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanx.

Curious, why did you do a restore? What was the problem that a restore was
required?
