I can't browse certain pages such as
www.techbargains.com.
Sometimes it seems to be the case that a DNS treats aliases
differently from the real domain name (e.g. perhaps it doesn't keep them and has to take extra hops to find them; then if its
adjacent nodes treated
aliases the same way your lookups might timeout). In this case you might
have better luck without the www. prefix.
FWIW here is what my nslookup shows:
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: techbargains.com
Address: 216.131.96.76
Aliases:
www.techbargains.com
If you have nslookup it could be interesting finding out how your
DNS does find each of those names. For example, use the
set type=ANY
command and compare your results.
