A while ago the following appeared each time I shut down.
"USRprbdA.exe - DLL Initialization
Failed : The application failed to initialize because the window station
is shutting down."
I ignored it, and PC always did close.
Now, on booting up, all the "splash" screens appear briefly and the sounds of booting go on but then nothing. Can't even start in safe mode (F8). Can only get in by hit & miss use of on/off switch and reset button.
