Hi!
I was just doing my routine maintenance like every week
going to windowsupdate, running adaware, etc. etc. and
Windows Update asks me to reboot my computer. Once my
computer came back up I get a blue screen with a REGISTRY
ERORR Stop code 0X00000051. I have looked at the KB and
saw all of that. I can't do a repair install booting from
the CD, it does not have that option. I went in the
Recovery console and followed the instructions from
copying the registry entries from the c:\windows\repair
directory to the c:\windows\system32\config dir. It said
that C:\windows\repair\system\ couldn't be found. So what
i did was keep the current system registry and rebooted.
I now get an lsass.exe error saying it was trying to
change the password and it didn't match or something like
that, and it goes through endless reboots. I don't want
to reinstall all of my software. How can I fix this? thx
