Can't boot hard disk system that was build on second. drive

I built a new Win 2000 system on a second hard drive on my system. Then I
removed the original primary and restrapped the second drive as primary.
But when I try to boot it just hangs; no errors, just a blank screen with a
cursor upper left. What am I missing?

Thats because yr origonal C drive contained the boot record
see Fixboot, in Recovery Consul
